MB 15/24 MStp Kiel-Wik, northern pier - Repair of the steel friction piles
Hydraulic steel construction, diving and concrete repair work: When repairing the steel friction piles, concrete work in accordance with ZTV-W LB219, hydraulic steel construction, diving work, including underwater cleaning work, underwater welding work must be carried out.
The main pipelines are

- Cleaning the surface of the steel pile using a high-pressure cleaner from approx. +1.00 to -3.00 mNHN (700m2)

- Structural inspection of 114 steel friction piles (visual inspection for localized deformations,

cracks, fractures, mechanical damage, rusting, etc.)

- Residual wall thickness measurements on steel friction piles from approx. +3.00 to -3.00 mNHN (570 pieces)

- Dismantling of old steel supports of the steel friction piles (228 pieces)

- Production and installation of new steel supports (228 pieces)

- Production and installation of mounting anchors (1824 pieces, M20, l=300mm) for new brackets

- Core drilling in reinforced concrete wall for dismantling old anchor rod incl. asbestos cement casing pipe

(456 pieces, D80-D120mm, l=600mm),

- Filling, closing, sealing of the core drill holes with repair concrete (456 pieces)

- Delivery and installation of steel profiles in the underwater area

(230 pcs. Flat steel 150/15/3500, 120 pcs. Flat steel 150/15/1500,

230 pcs. angle profile 340x8x300mm, 30 pcs. U-profile 150/25/15/3500, 10 pcs. U-profile 504/280/15/3500)

- Underwater weld aw=6mm for steel profiles (700m)

- Flame cutting up to 20mm material thickness on old steel profiles (50m)

- Repair or complete replacement of elastic rubber friction strips in D design (150m)
