Description
The Maillot lift plant, which uses both electric pumping lines and turbines driven by the Vanne river, pumps an average of 30,000m3 per day from the Cochepies springs into the Vanne aqueduct.From the plant outlet, the delivery pipe passes through or close to: the end of an underground gallery, a masonry perimeter wall, a masonry bridge-aqueduct with two arches.The aim of this contract is to rehabilitate and stabilize the visitable gallery, the bridge-aqueduct, the drainage of the riprap, as well as to replace the rainwater evacuation section and renew/rehabilitate the grey cast-iron pipe in the ground, in order to secure this part of the 140-year-old vector.The work will take place during the next water shutdown scheduled from 09/15/2024 to 01/13/2025.
