Letter services for the offices managed by the Internal Service Saarland_2020.
The Federal Employment Agency (BA) communicates with its customers in writing on a large scale. Therefore, it is dependent on using mail services of a permanently high quality. The reliable delivery of postal items in the shortest possible time is decisive here. The BA currently uses the services of various service providers at regional level. The aim of the invitation to tender is to award a new contract for the Interen Service Saarland. Items to be delivered outside the Federal Republic of Germany are not the subject of the invitation to tender. Outgoing mail is not pre-sorted by region and format in the post offices. During the term of the contract, there may be relocations, the loss and/or new admissions of offices or other collection/delivery points (e.g. post boxes). The Contractor shall adapt to such changes in the provision of services free of charge after prior consultation with the Client. A renegotiation of logistics or other costs is not possible. For clarification, it is pointed out that courier services are not subject of the award procedure. The services are to be provided for the following letter formats:1. format A: L: 140-235 mm, B: 90-125 mm, H: up to 5 mm up to 20 g.This also includes postcards with a length of 140 to 235 mm and a width of 90 to 125 mm.2. format B: L: 100-235 mm, B: 70-125 mm, H: up to 10 mm, up to 50 g,3. format C: L: 100-353 mm, B: 70-250 mm, H: up to 20 mm up to 500 g,4. format D L: 100-353 mm, B: 70-250 mm, H: up to 50 mm up to 1000 g,5. Registered mail.Registered mail is mail that requires proof of posting and is handed over in the formats 1. to 4. There is no price differentiation in the aforementioned format range. The registered mail is insured against loss or damage in the amount of 25 EUR. The necessary deposit receipts/return slips will be filled out by the customer. The customer will receive a proof of posting (receipt) for the letter post from the contractor.a) Registered mail insertion: The contractor proves to the customer that the letter post was inserted into the mailbox or the post office box of the recipient.b) Registered mail delivery:The Contractor shall prove to the Principal that the letter was delivered personally to the addressee or person entitled to receive the letter against signature.c) Registered mail return receipt:The Contractor shall prove to the Principal that the letter was delivered personally to the addressee or person entitled to receive the letter against signature. In addition to the proof of posting, the Customer will receive a confirmation of receipt with the original signature of the authorised recipient, which documents the receipt of the item in accordance with § 175 of the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO).
