Description

Manufacture and supply of frames for 2 modulator undulators and 6 radiator undulators.
Undulators are the actual radiation sources in electron storage rings and free-electron lasers. At FLASH (Free-Electron LASer in Hamburg) they generate intense electromagnetic radiation from the extreme UV to the soft X-ray range. The devices are installed in the accelerator tunnel where they are exposed to radiation during operation.
