Description
Midlands Engenuity Engineering Network was originally established by Westmeath, Offaly, Longford and Laois LEO as part of the Midlands Action Plan for Jobs funded under LEO Competitive Funds. The Engenuity Engineering Cluster was set up to promote market-led innovation, stakeholder collaboration, best practice and product / trade development among the Midlands Engineering companies.
Engenuity was set up as a pilot initiative to act as an exchange forum and cohesive network for its members to build links, share experience and undertake joint commercial activity. Engenuity included a programme of events to share expertise and best practice based around specific topics, member presentations, workshops, networking, mentoring and training so that companies could learn from each other, gain support from peers and stakeholder organisations and access tailored mentoring and training supports in addition to exhibiting at tradeshows.
The Midland LEOs have recently secured additional funding under the LEO Competitive Funds from Enterprise Ireland to expand this Network. This initiative forms part of the Regional Enterprise Plan to 2020. The new Network will represent the extensive Engineering Sector that exists in Midlands.
Midlands LEO’s now need to engage a coordinator to deliver an initiative to develop the Engineering Network in the Midlands. The purpose of this request for tender (RFT) is to seek tenders for this position of Midlands Engenuity Engineering Network Coordinator – Please refer to the provided Request For Tender for a full Specification of Requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS CONTRACT HAS BEEN FUNDED VIA THE ENTERPRISE IRELAND LEO COMPETITIVE FUND PROCESS
THIS PROJECT WILL RUN FROM MARCH TO DECEMBER 2020, TENDERERS MUST CONFIRM THEY CAN COMPLETE THE PROGRAMME IN THE SPECIFIED TIME.
