First Nations Health Authority Notice is hereby given by First Nations Health Authority, of its intent to directly award an agreement with the following supplier to provide Transport of Nursing Staff via Land Shuttle Services between Terrace and Tahltan, Telegraph Creek Gitxsan Safety Services Located in: South Hazelton, BC FNHA intends to directly award a contract to Gitxsan Safety Services for the following services of up to 24 months starting June 01, 2024 with a possibility of extension for another 12 month. To transport FNHA and agency-contracted Nurses and/or medical equipment via a land shuttle service along the primary route of Terrace and Tahltan, Telegraph Creek and other secondary routes, these may include but are not limited to: Terrace and Prince Rupert Prince George and Tsay Keh Dene Prince George to Kwadacha If the contractor is unable to make the assignment FNHA will be given 2 days (48 hours) notice. Driving fleet cars from Prince George to remote locations such as Kwadacha, Tsay Keh, Lax Kw’alaams and other remote First Nation communities in the Northern Region. Other transportation needs as required. Such other activities and services as may be reasonably required by the FNHA from time to time to fulfill the purposes of this Agreement. On November 12, 2021, the FNHA has implemented a policy to require all employees, contractors, and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 who will have in person contact with FNHA workers, patients or clients and carrying out community facing services. In accordance with FNHA policy, a vendor providing these services will be required to provide FNHA with a completed Declaration of Compliance with FNHA’s Vaccine Requirements form (“Declaration”).Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection to the attention of Maria Alton, by email to FNHA.contracts@fnha.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, May 16, 2024.
