Description
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and calibration of Liquid Chromatography-mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Instrumentation to include high resolution/accurate mass spectrometer, nano-liquid chromatography system and associated support instrumentation and data analysis software to Maynooth University (MU). The University invites tenders for a high resolution/accurate mass (HR/AM) spectrometer and rapid separation liquid chromatography system capable of high-throughput, Tandem Mass Tagging (TMT) Isobaric labelling, and label-free quantitative proteomic analysis of complex protein samples (Mandatory). Capability for enabling high resolution and mass accurate metabolite analysis is mandatory. Intact protein MS is highly desirable. Any instrument suite proposed must include, and be capable of, the following: • Nano-rapid separation LC system for sample (e.g., peptide or metabolite) separation. • Autosampler. • Mass spectrometer. • Nanospray Ion Source. • High performance quadrupole precursor selection. • Capacity to achieve state-of-the-art resolution. • Capacity to achieve state-of-the-art ppm mass accuracy. • Broad dynamic range. • Spectrum multiplexing and advanced signal processing. • Have the capability to undertake both targeted and untargeted screening. • Undertaking broad range high throughput qualitative and quantitative applications. Additionally, the system must include data acquisition, protein identification and differential expression analysis software packages, small molecule identification software, automated calibration, preferably expanded mass range capabilities (characterization of native proteins and protein complexes), real-Time search of a database or a spectral library.
