Management services I&A for Veenendaal municipality is divided into 6 parcels:1. Functional application management Key2Datadistribution;2. Functional and technical application management OpenTunnel;3. Functional and technical application management SmartAIM;4. Technical application management other applications and database management;5. System management;6. Network management.
Key2Datadistribution provides the storage and linking of basic registrations between applications at Veenendaal municipality. This lot concerns monitoring and maintaining the functioning of the Key2Datadistribution system and setting up new links in Key2Datadistribution for Veenendaal municipality. In terms of content, the consistency of the basic registrations is monitored and guaranteed.In the future, Key2Datadistribution is expected to transition to SaaS. In addition, it is eventually planned to replace the application with a kind of traffic plaza for APIs. It is still unknown when.For the specific requirements for the contract and the different lots, see Appendix 2 Program of Requirements. See Appendix 18 for a system diagram of Key2Data Distribution. OpenTunnel is the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) of the municipality of Veenendaal. The scope concerns monitoring and maintaining the functioning and operation of OpenTunnel and adjusting existing links and setting up new links in OpenTunnel of Municipality Veenendaal.The use of APIs will increase, making it important to use an (additional) API Gateway in the coming years. This preferably combined with OpenTunnel. In addition, it is expected that OpenTunnel will be migrated to a SaaS service in the future. It is still unknown when.For the specific requirements for the contract and the different lots, see Appendix 2 Program of Requirements. See Appendix 17 for a schematic overview of the tunnels in OpenTunnel. SmartAIM provides the Identity & Access Management for the municipality of Veenendaal. The lot concerns the functional and technical application management, monitoring and keeping the functioning of SmartAIM operational and capacity for new developments and links related to SmartAIM, including the function authorization matrix and reading it into SmartAIM.For the specific requirements for the contract and the various lots, see Appendix 2 Schedule of Requirements. See appendix 19 for the architecture picture of SmartAIMThis lot concerns in the standard services the following with regard to the other applications and the databases of municipality Veenendaal and the regional municipalities managed by municipality Veenendaal. This concerns the core applications, as listed in Appendix 10:- The regular technical application management- Database monitoring and database management- Release management- Patching and hardening (security)In addition, capacity is requested for new developments, such as- New applications and databases- Migrations of Oracle and MS SQL Server versionsThe expectation is that the number of applications and databases to be managed will decrease due to migrations to SaaS or replacement by other applicationsFor the specific requirements for the contract and the various lots, see Appendix 2 Program of Requirements. The system management concerns the support of the system environment of Veenendaal Municipality in the field of operating systems (Microsoft, VMware, Liquit, Linux, Veeam and AvePoint/Rubrik), as described in Appendix 2 Program of Requirements. This concerns the system environment as listed in Appendix 11 which is managed for the Municipality of Veenendaal and the environments hosted by the Municipality of Veenendaal.For these systems we expect a transition to Cloud services in the coming years. These can then remain or become part of this agreement.The Municipality of Veenendaal will determine whether it also needs additional capacity and expertise with regard to advice, support and health checks in consultation with the system administrators for other system management-oriented tasks. This lot concerns monitoring the network and security, keeping it operational and providing expertise regarding advice and support activities in the area of network and security (network, firewall). It concerns the network environment as shown in Appendix 12. For an impression of the other system environment, see Appendix 11.Gemeente Veenendaal has a LAN environment based on HPE/Aruba and a Fortinet-based firewall and WiFi environment. This environment was implemented by a partner and this partner provides specialist and 2nd line support to the municipality upon request. Municipality Veenendaal needs external support that is familiar with this environment. It concerns the network environment managed for Municipality Veenendaal and the environments hosted by Municipality Veenendaal.The basic principles regarding expectations are as follows:- Performing network changes and assistance with incidents;- Answering questions coming from the organization;- Failure reports via the Service Desk of the Contractor and/or contact person at the Contractor with an obligation of effort and communication at set times;- Periodically keeping the (network) infrastructure 'up to date' (patches, checks loggings);- Keeping network documentation up to date;- Presenting points for improvement to the Municipality of Veenendaal;- The Municipality of Veenendaal wishes to deploy the Contractor for updates, upgrades and change requests. Hereby a proactive monitoring service for firewalls, network switches and wifi APs is a requirement.The Municipality of Veenendaal determines whether it additionally needs additional capacity for other network management oriented tasks.For the specific requirements for the contract and the different lots see Appendix 2 Program of Requirements.
