The assignment concerns the acquisition of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that can be used for the entire university. The Radboud University wants to enter into an agreement with a party via a non-public procedure.
Radboud University attaches great importance to information security and privacy. With the acquisition and implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), Radboud University wants to demonstrably safeguard and maintain information security, privacy and risk management at process level. The goal is to gradually raise the maturity level of the organization in this area to a higher level and to keep it there, through an adjusted and closed PDCA cycle. The ISMS facilitates this objective for the entire organization (research, education and support). For higher education, the Baseline Information Security Higher Education (BIHO) is the current framework of norms. The BIHO is based on the international standard for information security, ISO 27001/27002. With regard to privacy, the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR) is leading, which is intended to create an integrated total solution (ISMS) for the task areas of information security, privacy, and risk management.
