Device as a Service with Device Lifecycle Management (DLM)
The client plans to enable its employees to use mobile devices as part of the ongoing digitization of BVG. For this purpose, the present invitation to tender is being carried out. The Customer intends to commission the Contractor by way of a Device-as-a-Service solution ("DaaS") with the provision (procurement and leasing) of mobile end devices to employees of BVG and professional services in connection therewith, as well as services for the device lifecycle management of the mobile end devices, including their return and recycling after expiry of the lease term, as well as maintenance and support services for the mobile end devices. The contractor is responsible for all service aspects from fully automated initial commissioning, through continuous support during the period of use, to the return and remarketing of the devices.The minimum quantity of end device rental contracts is 5,000.The plan is for 90% of the 13,200 employees of BVG AöR to be equipped with a mobile end device - with smartphone or tablet - in this way by the end of 2022. A maximum of 20,000 leases for smartphones or tablets will be concluded.The intention is to conclude a framework agreement for a term of 36 months when the contract is awarded. This can optionally be extended once for three years and once for two years.
