Description

The Friedrich-Ebert-Schule in Mannheim- Waldhof was built until 1966 as a primary school with an attached children's house. The entire complex is listed as a historical monument. For future use as an all-day primary school with inclusion, conversion and renovation measures are necessary, but without changing the external appearance of the building. The building will be barrier-free with the installation of lifts and wheelchair ramps and the structural fire protection will be improved with additional escape and rescue routes over the roof. The condition of the plant components is old and used according to the age of the building. The hygienic condition is questionable. At the same time, the drinking water, waste water and heating pipes have to be rebuilt. A large part of the heating, plumbing and waste water piping runs below the ground floor in concrete floor ducts and in the ground. This means that in some areas where the floor is not opened, the installation of the media is only possible under difficult conditions (limited space). An installation shaft extends from the administration building to the other side of the building. This installation shaft has a clear cross-section of maximum 1m width and 1m height. The media must be pushed through the sewer if access from above is not possible due to soil remediation.dimensions of the building structure:- total length of north wing approx. 140.00 m- total building depth approx. 54.00 m (largest north-south extension)building heights OK Attika:- from approx. 3.60 m (north side kitchen wing)- to approx. 13.20 m (south side 3-storey class wing)division of the building structure and building sections:There are 3 different building structures available, which can be remediated at different times. The following structure also takes into account the use of the school. In the 1st construction phase the class wing (2nd BA) is used by the school and the north wing (1st BA) is rebuilt. From summer 2020, when the 1st BA is completed, the refurbishment of the 2nd BA will begin and school operations will start in the north wing. This is followed by the conversion of the gymnasium, also in the 2nd BA (concrete maintenance and facade work):1) North wing (1.BA) essentially 1 to 2-storey with round cafeteria; attic heights of the structures: from approx. 3.60 m to approx. 8.70 m;2) South wing "classrooms" (2.BA); attic heights of the structures Class wing: 3-storey with staggered levels up to approx. 13.20 m;3) Gymnasium and ancillary building (2.BA) 1-storey with staggered height from approx. 3.00 m to approx. 7.00 m.Building - administration building (section 1):The building consists of 1 - 2 floors. The projectiles are offset to each other. The 1st floor can be reached via a narrow 1.6 m wide staircase. The running height of the stairs is limited to approx. 2.0 m. Building - entrance area / foyer / break area (construction section 1): The entrance area can be reached via a 1.9 m wide and approx. 2.0 m high door. The hall area drops slightly so that there are 3 steps at each of 2 points. The hall floor is paved. The building consists of several areas.access to the UG Technik is via a ramp door 1.0 m wide, 2.0 m high. In addition, the installation can be made via a shaftDimensions 1.0 m wide x 1 m deep, approx. 3.5 m high.Building - classroom (section 2):The building consists of 3 floors and is connected to the administration building via a hall area. The building consists of 12 classrooms on 3 levels. The rooms are accessible via 2 staircases. The stairwells have a running width of 1.6 m door classroom 1.0 m width, 2.0 m height.
