Description
MWB intends to conclude a framework agreement for the supply of precipitants for the Gießen wastewater treatment plant.The aim is to ensure the regular, secure and reliable supply of various precipitants to the Gießen wastewater treatment plant.The wastewater treatment plant has limited interim storage capacity.The precipitants are called off in tranches.At present, individual contracts are awarded for this purpose.
Iron-containing, crystalline precipitants (salt)The contractor is in principle able to supply the precipitants in compliance with the requirements described below.1.Iron-containing, crystalline precipitants are used at the Giessen wastewater treatment plant for the elimination of phosphate from the wastewater.The contractor (CO) must deliver the product to the client (CL) on call and unload it into the salt bunker (dissolving bunker). The personnel of the sewage treatment plant shall be available for instruction and supervision of the unloading process. The Contractor shall inform himself about the location and the conditions of the unloading site before the first delivery and shall adapt his vehicles accordingly. The delivery of the product shall be made exclusively in vehicles with walking floor unloading with at least 20 t payload.Total requirement of ferrous, crystalline precipitants: up to 350 t/aThe ferrous, crystalline precipitant to be delivered must meet the following requirements:- active substance content > 170 g/kg- active substance content > 3.0 mol/kg- material must not lump- salt must slide easily off the walking floor- the delivered salt must not contain any foreign or interfering substances- the delivered salt must not contain any impurities Trace contents to be observed:Ca max. 7 mg/kgCd max. 0.3 mg/kgCr max. 45 mg/kgCu max. 5 mg/kgHg max. 0.1 mg/kgMn max. 470 mg/kgNi max. 45 mg/kgPb max. 2 mg/kgZn max. 8 mg/kg Liquid precipitantsThe contractor is in principle able to supply the precipitants in compliance with the requirements described below.1For the elimination of phosphate from wastewater, liquid precipitants are used at the Gießen wastewater treatment plant.The contractor (CO) shall deliver the product on call to the client (CL) and press it via the filling line (riser) into the storage tank assigned by the wastewater treatment plant personnel. For the unloading process the personnel of the sewage treatment plant is available for instruction and supervision of the filling process. The Contractor / Supplier shall inform himself about the location and the technical conditions of the unloading site prior to delivery and shall equip his vehicles accordingly. The delivery of the product shall take place in suitable tankers with at least 16 m³ useful volume (approx. 22 t payload).Total requirement of liquid precipitants: up to 650 t/aThe liquid precipitants to be delivered must meet the following requirements:Iron-III-chloride solution- Delivery form: 38 to 42 % aqueous solution- Active substance content related to Fe3+ : 13 % to 15 %- active substance content in the range 2.2 mol/kg to 2.7 mol/kg- released for use in wastewater treatment- must not contain any impuritiesCombined products Fe/Al- delivery form: solution- active substance content Al: 2% to 5%- active substance content Fe3+: 7% to 10%- released for use in wastewater treatment- must not contain any impuritiesTrace contents to be maintained for both products:Cd max. 0.5 mg/kgCr max. 35 mg/kgCu max. 35 mg/kgHg max. 0.1 mg/kgNi max. 50 mg/kgPb max. 12 mg/kgZn max. 60 mg/kg
