Description
An Austrian state owned organisation published an innovation challenge for innovative, sustainable energy solutions that can be implemented on or along existing infrastructures, such as highways, tunnels or maintenance facilities, with minimal land use.
The goal is to maximize energy output whilst avoiding further land sealing and ensuring compatibility with traffic safety and operational needs.
Participants (companies or consortia) must submit:
- a technical description of their solution
- performance metrics, especially energy yield per m²
- information on economic feasibility, maintenance needs, and traffic safety compatibility
- visuals (title image) and optionally a supplementary file (e.g., graphics)
- confidential financial indicators (can be submitted securely)
The deadline for submission is 7th December 2025.
