Description

IQ is currently undergoing a period of growth and digital transformation. It has embarked on major investments in its technological tools, starting with upgrades to its infrastructure, technological architecture, data management and security, and information systems. A busy roadmap has begun, with numerous projects scheduled for completion over several years. In the meantime, it must develop and evolve its technological infrastructure towards modern, innovative solutions.

IQ would like to engage the services of an external firm to carry out an audit of its IT infrastructure. This audit, included in the work plan of IQ's Vice-President of Internal Audit, will focus primarily on IQ's financial systems (the systems IQ relies on to produce its financial statements) and is intended, among other things, to meet the requirements of IQ's financial governance program, which stipulates that this audit must be carried out annually.

In the interests of efficiency and effectiveness, IQ wants to ensure that its external co-auditors, including the teams of the Auditor General of Québec, can rely on these services as part of their audit of the annual consolidated financial statements of Investissement Québec and its subsidiaries.
