Description

A government department has invited EoIs from architects for an iconic tower. The tower will be 35 storeys with a built up area of 1,045,440 Sq. ft for office, retail and residence.

The work includes the preparation of details of architectural drawings, structural designs, and design of MEP works including the preparation of details of estimate of the proposed tower with a bill of quantities including sanitary, plumbing, electrical, fire fighting, air-conditioning and other ancillary works.

Technical eligibility criteria are:

- the bidder may be a single entity or a consortium of a maximum of 2 entities
- the Lead Member must be an architecture or urban design firm registered in India with an experience of working in India for at least 3 consecutive years
- the bidder or at least one of the consortium members must have an operational office in Kolkata, India
- the Lead Member must be have experience of designing at least 1mixed use (office/retail/residential) building of at least 20 levels above ground with a project cost of at least £11 million during the last 10 years of its business.

The last date for submission of bids is 3 March, 2018.
