Description
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) requires a contractor to provide a national electronic Incident Management Tracking System (IMTS) for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) within the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB). These HCPs deliver primary and public health care services in predominately northern, Indigenous communities. The IMTS will centralize and streamline reporting for patient safety and non-patient safety Incidents, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Incident management.
The objective of the contract is to ensure that ISC obtains an IMTS that is secure (Protected B), bilingual (English and French) and accessible to all pertinent HCP and ISC staff. The system will manage patient safety and non-patient safety Incidents throughout their entire lifecycle, supporting ongoing data analysis for prevention and improvement.
This IMTS will support ISC’s mandate to provide Indigenous Peoples with quality health services that are culturally safe and promote social well-being.
The period of the Contract is from date of award to 4 Years later with two (2) additional one (1) year option period(s).
There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Bidders should refer to the Contract Security Program of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/introduction-eng.html) website”.
