Description
The government of the Republic of Ecuador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to finance the National System for Investment Attraction and Facilitation and intends to use part of the funds to make the corresponding payments under the contract for the design, development and implementation of the VUI 2.0 and the integrations of the procedures of the entities involved with investments in Ecuador.
The objective of the consulting services is to design, develop and implement the Single Window for Investments (VUI) 2.0, guaranteeing its interoperability with 10 public entities identified in 7 prioritized sectors. The platform will allow for integrated management of the procedures related to the initiation and closing of investment operations in Ecuador.
Key responsibilities include:
• design, development, testing and implementation of VUI 2.0 with management and end-user modules
• implementation of a 100% open source iBPMS to model and automate processes of the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries (MPCEIP)
• development of interoperability services for updating the status of procedures
• knowledge transfer, technical and user manuals, sustainability model and safety standards
• implementation of a conversational bot based on artificial intelligence to support users
The executing agency is the Ministry of Production.
