Description

MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the replacement of automatic fire alarm and detection (AFA) systems at Wan Chai Station (WAC) and Ngau Tau Kok Station (NTK).

The scope of Works includes the replacement of three existing “Thorn M80” fire alarm panels (FAPs), including addressable field devices (i.e. detectors, interfacing modules, break glass units), remote indicators, battery and charger sets and provision of new fire services (FS) workstations together with the associated interface equipment for the communication between the new FAPs and the existing station management system (SMS). The new FAPs and FS workstations shall be fully compatible with the existing SMS at WAC and NTK. The contractor shall release the source code for the database of the new FAPs and communication protocol between the FAPs and the SMS and provide programming tools with license for the fire panel database upon completion of the Works.
