Description

Department of Resources is seeking the services of suppliers and contractors to install a perimeter fence along a specified corridor on Great Keppel Island (GKI). Owing to the remoteness of the site and the potential for future works requiring different fencing configurations a fencing systems using prefabricated fencing panel (PFFP) system is proposed. The perimeter PFFP system includes panels, stays, blocks, clamps, locks, and gates i.e., vehicle and pedestrian access gates.  The scope for the works includes three parts:

Part A – Supply of 3,000m of Prefabricated Fencing Panels to be delivered to Resources’ secure compound on GKI, the supply includes fencing panels, gates, stays, bases, clamps, secure locks;

Part B - Preparation of the Corridor e.g., removing existing damaged sections of fencing and obstructive vegetation, to provide a form and stable base for the fence; and

Part C - Installation of Prefabricated Fencing Panels on GKI as per the Specification Map with the works including tying the new panels into the existing fencing and removing sections of existing fences to a designated waste area on the lease area.

The RFQ will allow flexibility with potential suppliers and contractors able to provide offers for all 3 parts or the option to provide offers for each part in line with their capabilities.
