Description

AWIGO Logistik GmbH is a mixed-economy, indirect subsidiary of the district of Osnabrück. AWIGO Logistik is responsible for the collection and transport of residual, organic and bulky waste as well as waste paper from the district.AWIGO Logistik invites tenders for the procurement of waste collection vehicles as a framework agreement. This includes side-loader, rear-loader and bulky waste vehicles with and without additional dumping as well as bulky waste vehicles with electrically operated loading gear.
Supply of side-loader vehicles for residual and organic waste collection as 3-axle vehicles with fixed bodies. In order to avoid interface difficulties, the vehicles will be tendered as complete systems, i.e. the contractor is to supply ready-to-operate vehicles consisting of chassis, body and dumping system. Repairs and maintenance are to be carried out by the contractor during the warranty and guarantee period. Bidders are expected to propose maintenance contracts for body/fill and chassis; this is to be done with the initial bids. The contracting authority will reserve the right to enter into the relevant contracts or not. If necessary, AWIGO Service GmbH, another indirect subsidiary of the district of Osnabrück, is to be involved, which will carry out the maintenance of the vehicles for the Client after the expiry of the warranty and guarantee period (in exceptional cases also maintenance during the warranty and guarantee period, provided AWIGO Service GmbH has the necessary qualifications). As the fleet currently consists exclusively of chassis of the manufacturer Mercedes-Benz, the workshop is exclusively geared to this vehicle type with regard to staff training, diagnostic equipment and spare parts stock. If chassis of other manufacturers are offered, the additional costs for the diagnostic equipment and the conversion or expansion of the workshop as well as the training requirements will be taken into account in the bid price. The subsequent bidder must then provide details of the costs and supply the relevant equipment in the event of an order. Supply of rear-loading vehicles (compactor vehicles) as 3-axle vehicles with fixed bodies, namely:- for waste paper collection,- for residual waste collection,- for bulky waste without bulk,- for variable use: with flat loading edge for bulky waste and with low-mounted bulk for waste paper and light packaging. In order to avoid interface difficulties, the vehicles will be put out to tender as complete systems; i.e., the contractor shall deliver ready-to-operate vehicles consisting of chassis, body and bulk.Repairs and maintenance shall be carried out by the contractor during the warranty and guarantee period.
