United States - FSL Houghton Machine Shop Remodel

This acquisition is for remolding and site work at the USDA Forest Service Laboratory in Houghton, MI. The project consists of remodeling of interior spaces in the machine shop, construct mezzanine and graphite lab, parking lot improvements, fume hood & exhaust fan replacement, waterline & sewer line replacement and restroom renovations. Work is expected to begin on or about July 01, 2019 and must be completed by December 31, 2019. Estimated Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000.  A site visit is planned for April 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM (Eastern Time). The site visit while not mandatory it is strongly recommended.  A bid guarantee will be required with the offer.

All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Set Aside: Unrestricted

 This is a new requirement. Davis Bacon Contract Act Wage Rates will be applicable. Award will be made as one contract to one offeror   The contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date.
