The European Commission owns a total of 29 units of the fork detector system (for spent fuel verification) and 5 UWCC units (for fresh MOX verification) that were purchased from 2 suppliers:Studiencentrum voor Kernenergie — Centre d'Étude de l'Énergie Nucléaire (SCK-CEN), Mol, BELGIUM.And:A.N. Technology Ltd, Wallingford-Oxfordshire, UK (ANTECH).The tenderer will be required to carry out the following of work:— functional detector tests,— storage of complete fork and/or UWCC detector systems,— decontamination of a fork and/or UWCC detector system,— ad hoc maintenance services.
