Description
Information about the Contracting Authority: The Institutional Burials Act 2022 provides the underlying legislative basis for an intervention, whereby the remains of those who died in residential institutions, and who were buried in a manifestly inappropriate manner, may be recovered and re-interred in a respectful and appropriate way. The Act provides for the excavation, recovery, analysis (including individualisation and establishing of the causes and circumstances of death where possible), identification (if possible) and re-interment of remains at an intervention site. respectful manner and if possible, identifying them and establishing circumstances and causes of death. Forensic Data Manager The Director seeks the services of a Forensic Data Manager to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to oversee the management and analysis of data related to the human remains recovered from the Tuam Site in accordance with the Institutional Burials Act 2022 and forensic best practice.
