The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Armed Forces, Canadian Forces Base Borden, Canadian Forces Fire and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Academy has a requirement for the design, construction, delivery, and installation of a Flashover Observation System (Simulator). The system is to be installed at the existing trainer site located in Borden, Ontario.

The existing system will be removed by DND and the site ready for installation on a concrete foundation pad measuring 45 feet X 20 feet.

The Contractor must provide train the trainer instructions which detail the use, maintenance and proper care of the supplied Flashover Observation System (Simulator) system. The training must be provided once the installation has been completed.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
