Description
The Municipal Undertaking for social service buildings is a municipal enterprise owned by Oslo municipality to develop, build, operate, and maintain purpose-built buildings. As of January 2019, the total building area were approximately 870 000 m2 distributed over more than 600 properties and 1 100 buildings. The buildings mainly consist of nursing homes, residential — and rehabilitation centres, nursery schools, fire stations, as well as cultural centres. Our tenants are districts and municipal agencies.More than half of the buildings have 24/7 operations. The Municipal Undertaking for Social Housing's buildings and institutions can have underage residents and users or residents with challenges related to alcohol and drug abuse, mental health issues, dementia, deviant behaviour, etc. Assignments for fire-proofing measures for nurseries and other institutions may occur where special fire-proofing is required. These residents must be specially taken care of.The assignment comprises:The Municipal Undertaking for social housing shall enter into a Framework Agreement with one tenderer for fire engineering consultancy services. The Framework Agreement includes projects and services that are primarily limited to our existing properties. Based on previous experience up to 5 consultants have be required simultaneously.The objective of the procurement:OBY' requires fire safety to satisfy the minimum requirements in the building and fire regulations, or better. For some of our older buildings, there is a need to map and document the safety level in detail in order to safeguard our purpose and owner responsibility. Furthermore, there is a need to prepare sufficient documentation for a contest for improving defects of significant nature that are revealed. The requirement also includes consulting, inspections, documentation and follow-up projects subject to fire-related measures. The tenderer shall provide adequate services for covering the Contracting Authority's requirements for agreed services.See the tender documentation for more information.
