The objective of this call for tender is to contract, by means of a European tender, an insurer/broker for liability insurance per January 1, 2024 00.00 for the following organizations:- municipality of Alblasserdam- municipality of Dordrecht- municipality of Hardinxveld-Giessendam- municipality of Papendrecht- municipality of Sliedrecht
Alblasserdam has 20,356 inhabitants (situation 1-1-2023). Dordrecht, with its 121,563 inhabitants (1-1-2023), is the fifth largest municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland. The metropolitan agglomeration Drechtsteden, of which Dordrecht is a part, is the 9th in the Netherlands with approximately 280,000 inhabitants. The city is located where the Merwede splits into the North and Oude Maas rivers. The municipality of Dordrecht includes the entire island of Dordrecht. In Dordrecht there are 4 police stations, 2 fire stations, a hospital (Albert Schweitzer Hospital) and a prison. Number of inhabitants: 18,681 (situation 1-1-2023). Sliedrecht, with its 26,211 inhabitants (situation 1-1-2023), is a green and water-rich municipality in South Holland. Sliedrecht is, together with neighboring municipalities Alblasserdam, Dordrecht, Hendirk-Ido-Ambacht, Papendrecht, Sliedrecht and Zwijndrecht, part of the Drechtsteden. The A15 is the main feeder road for Sliedrecht. Sliedrecht is located on the Beneden-Merwede.
