Description
The government of the Dominican Republic has requested a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to finance the cost of the Universal Sanitation Program in Coastal and Tourist Cities II, and intends to use part of the proceeds of this loan to make payments for the contract for the expansion of the sanitary sewerage system in San Pedro de MacorÃs.
The National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewerage (INAPA) invites interested companies to participate in the process of prequalification of contractors and/or firms to oversee:
• construction of collectors by trench and Non-Destructive Methods (NMD)
• construction of impulsion lines and pumping stations
• structural design of the Treatment Plant
• construction of a Secondary Biological Treatment Plant
• operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant for an initial period of 18 months (extendable)
The executing agency is the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewerage (INAPA).
