PROJECT DESCRIPTION


The project involves the expansion and redevelopment of some of the premises of Cardinal-Léger Elementary School, located at 2000 Decelles Street, in Ville St-Laurent. The goal of the project is to add a new double gymnasium with its services, 12 classes, a resource class, a music class, an English class, a library and related services. Also, the existing palestra (mini gym) will be transformed into a multi-purpose room. Redevelopments in the existing system will be minor, mainly changes in functions. Asset maintenance work on the M&E and building envelope, funded by the CSMB asset maintenance budget, will also be integrated into this project.





SITE VISIT :


A site visit* will be carried out on June 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of the school's main entrance. Site visits are strongly recommended for bidders.





* No further visits will be carried out and the tenderers may under no circumstances appear on the premises at a time other than the date and time fixed for the visit. Bidders are responsible for obtaining information and properly evaluating the nature and scope of the work and for obtaining an understanding of the locations and conditions affecting the performance of the work. All bidders will be deemed to have visited the site and no claims for lack of knowledge of the site may be submitted.

The contract covered by this call for tenders is subject to the pilot project to facilitate payment to companies involved in public construction contracts and related public subcontracts (Ministerial Order No 2018-01). Thus, the contract covered by this call for tenders and the subcontracts related to it are subject to the terms and conditions established by this pilot project.
