France - Excavation work on archaeological sites

Description

The archaeological excavations are carried out on 2 sites and are prescribed by prefectoral decrees referenced nº 19/0210 dated 29.3.2019 (A10 Section 1) and nº 19/0679 dated 7.11.2019 (A10 Section 6) on respective areas of 1.77 ha (commune of Veigné) and 1.39 ha (commune of Saint-Épain). The prescribed excavations must be carried out in accordance with the scientific specifications annexed to the orders. The contract is composed for each site with:- a firm operational phase including a provisional duration of 4.5 months for the field phase,- an optional phase in the event of the discovery of more numerous and more complex remains for section 1.1 Topographic and geophysical surveys and excavation work must be carried out by authorized operators (see $ below, sections III.1.3) and III.2.2))), in particular for the periods of the metal ages, antiquity and the Middle Ages, by respecting very tight deadlines, with extended working hours and strictly respecting Cofiroute's safety instructions.
