Concerns the design and realization of the development measures for new nature in the Kooi van Pen (south-eastern part) and Noordmanen subareas in the Natura 2000 area De Weerribben.The present assignment focuses on the further elaboration of the preliminary design drawn up by the Contracting Authority for both the Kooi van Pen and Noordmanen subareas, as well as the implementation of the nature development measures in both subareas. This contract will be put on the market as a Design & Construct contract (D&C) under the UAV-GC 2005.
It concerns the design and realization of the development measures for new nature in the subareas Kooi van Pen (southeastern part) and Noordmanen in the Natura 2000 area De Weerribben.The province of Overijssel has 24 Natura 2000 areas. The management plan for the N2000 area Wieden-Weerribben was adopted in 2017. This task relates to the management task in the subareas Kooi van Pen and Noordmanen, located in the Weerribben. For both subareas the measures necessary to achieve the objectives of the management plan have been elaborated. These goals are to increase the habitat of marsh birds, to increase the variation, to connect nature areas and to set up habitat for marsh birds and to use the opportunities for economic, recreational and experiential synergies.In summary: the goal is to maintain and expand the habitat types with habitats which occur mainly in the various phases between open water and the final forest phase and to maintain the species which occur in them.
