Description

El Salvador invites bids under International Public Tender LPI 04/2025-ANDA-IDB for the supply of equipment and spare parts, ensuring the continued operability of pumping stations in the northern zone system. This procurement is part of the Program for the Strengthening of the Water and Sanitation Sector, financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (Loan No. 5577/OC-ES).

The tender is divided into 3 lots, which include:

• vertical centrifugal pumps
• electric motors
• variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• valves
• various spare parts and accessories

The estimated budget for the procurement is USD 2 million, and the process is governed by the IDB's procurement policies. Bidders from all eligible countries are invited to participate.

The equipment is intended to support the reliability and efficiency of water distribution infrastructure in the northern region of El Salvador.
