50Hertz implements 525kV high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems, partly in cooperation with other grid operators. The aim of these projects is primarily to establish HVDC connections between generation and consumption centers in northern and southern as well as western and eastern Germany. In general, the 525kV HVDC connections in the grid area of 50Hertz are each planned for a power transmission of 2 GW.The focus of the tender is the SuedOstLink+ project but also the route to the North Sea (DC31), which is already anchored and continued in the Network Development Plan (NEP).In detail, the tender is divided into the following line portfolios (functions): - Interface management technology - Coordination management environment - Technical project management environment - Technical project management mapping - Technical project management approval stations - Technical project management soil protection / hydroology - Technical project management A&E measures - Subproject management nature conservation and approval.
With this tender, 50Hertz intends to strengthen its team for the approval of SuedOstLink+ and DC31 with external expertise for the project duration of at least 6 years. The tender includes a variety of services, all of which have a controlling, planning function and support 50Hertz in ensuring the legal requirements, objectives of participating stakeholders and the timely success of the project. These are:Interface Management Engineering is responsible for and supports the quality and timely preparation of the technical planning/documents.For details, see Chap. 2.2.1 of the Terms of Reference (Annex E). With this tender, 50Hertz intends to strengthen its team for the approval of the SuedOstLink+ and DC31 by external expertise for the project duration of at least 6 years. The RFP includes a variety of services, all of which have a controlling, planning function and support 50Hertz to ensure legal requirements, objectives of involved stakeholders and on-time project success. These are:Coordination Management Environment supports the project team in controlling and preparing the technical approval documents..For details, see Chap. 2.2.2 of the Terms of Reference (Attachment E). These are:Project Management Approval Stations is responsible for and manages the external project partners for the preparation of approval documents for obtaining (individual) approvals for the stations (e.g. converters, substations, cable section stations).For details, see Section 2.2.5 of the Terms of Reference (Annex E). With the tender, 50Hertz intends to strengthen its team for the approval of SuedOstLink+ and DC31 by external expertise for the project duration of at least 6 years. The tender includes a variety of services, all of which have a controlling, planning function and support 50Hertz in ensuring the legal requirements, objectives of involved stakeholders and on-time project success. These are:Soil Protection / Hydrology Project Management manages the external expert consultants for soil protection / hydrology and is responsible for the preparation of the corresponding documents for the permit applications. With the tender, 50Hertz intends to strengthen its team for the approval of SuedOstLink+ and DC31 by external expertise for the project duration of at least 6 years. The RFP includes a variety of services, all of which have a steering, planning function and support 50Hertz to ensure the legal requirements, objectives of involved stakeholders and on-time project success. These are:Specialist project management A&E measures supports the project team in the preparation of the approval documents and in the preparations for the selection and implementation of compensation and replacement measures. With the tender, 50Hertz intends to strengthen its team for the approval of SuedOstLink+ and DC31 by external expertise for the project duration of at least 6 years. The tender includes a variety of services, all of which have a controlling, planning function and support 50Hertz in ensuring the legal requirements, objectives of involved stakeholders and on-time project success. These are:Subproject Management Nature Conservation and Permitting is responsible for obtaining legally compliant permits for a section of a project as well as any other permits integrated into the section (e.g. the converter (according to BImSchG)). The function controls all trades within the section and is thus responsible for approval processes that meet deadlines, budgets and quality standards. This also implies responsibility for the content of the approval documents. For details, please refer to Section 2.2.8 of the Terms of Reference (Appendix E).
