Description

This contract notice concerns the following services, related to the theme of sump filters installed on PWR type nuclear power plants:Lot 1: Supply of calibrated debris (TSD - Terme Source Debris) representative of conditions upstream or downstream of the sump filtersLot 2: Physico-chemical analysis of loaded water samplesLot 3: Hydraulic studies specific to TSD (volume of debris by-passing the filter: TSD max downstream filter and max head loss at the filters) / Predictive calculation of load partes at the filters / Design of test loop and estimation of clogging of the sump filters
Type of representative graded debris to be provided (non-exhaustive) :- structural and fission product materials (approx. 5 microns)- paint micro-debris (approx. 5 to 50 microns)- microtherm (approx. 20 microns)- concrete particles (approx. 5 to 500 microns)- ISOVER fiber destroyed by high pressure jetting- paint chip (thickness between 100 and 200 microns)- ISOVER fibers cooked according to NEIFurnishings of calibration measurement of debris provided according to the state of the artRealization of studies for the development of new debris Type of analyses to be carried out (non-exhaustive) :- insoluble content according to NF EN 872- microscopic counting of fibers NF E 48 660- particle size distribution by laser diffraction ISO 13 320-1- chemical analyses : 8 metals pack (Ca, Mg, K, Zn, Al, Ti, B and Na), pH measurement, chlorides and sulphates determination, silica determination, hydrogen carbonates content, chemical composition of a debris sample (by mineralization and ICP)- SEM/EDX analyses on liquid sample and on debris bed Type of hydraulic studies considered :- calculation of clogging of sump filters (estimation of head losses)- estimation of the bypass rate of debris (according to WCAP 1606 methodology)- free flow modeling (water path in a building or in a basin)- characterization of the behavior of particles in loaded waterTypes of hydraulic tests envisaged:- filter performance tests- characterization of the behavior of particles in loaded waterDesign / Modifications of test loops, in its own or in third party premises specified by the Company
