Switzerland - Emergency power equipment

Description

ewz plans to equip its substations with mobile emergency power units (NEA) in the next few years. The determination of the unit size is based on its connectable power in the first load step (50%) and the minimum short-circuit current to be achieved. Based on these calculations, 2 power sizes resulted. Type 1 135kVA and type 2 160kVA mains replacement diesel generators. Emergency diesel generator and cables up to the interface (junction box) must be supplied and put into operation. The exact scope of services is defined in the tender documents. Six of the substations are located in the city of Zurich and two in Graubünden.
