Description

The subject of this award procedure is the supply, installation and commissioning of a charging infrastructure at the depots of wupsi GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the client, AG) for the charging of 46 battery-electric and preconditioning of 10 fuel cell hybrid public transport buses. The scope of supply includes stationary chargers, depot boxes, mobile chargers as well as a simplified charging management system.The commissioning of the charging infrastructure must take place by 15.12.2024 at the latest due to requirements of the grant decision.It is pointed out that all communication about the project process will be in German language and writing. This means that the requests to participate and the offers as well as all attachments, proofs, declarations, etc. must be written in German.
The AG intends to deploy 46 additional battery-electric solo and articulated buses as well as 10 fuel cell hybrid solo buses in its route network. The battery-electric buses are to be charged at the AG's depots in both Leverkusen and Bergisch Gladbach. The fuel cell hybrid buses will be preconditioned exclusively at the Leverkusen depot.A total of 32 stationary chargers and depot boxes will be procured at the Leverkusen depot to charge the battery-electric buses stationed there, and 5 chargers and 10 depot boxes will be procured to precondition the fuel cell hybrid buses.At the Bergisch Gladbach depot, 14 stationary chargers and 7 depot boxes will be required to charge the battery-electric buses. A total of 51 chargers and 49 depot boxes will be procured.A charging capacity of at least 150 kW is to be realized at all chargers.In addition, 5 mobile chargers (at least 40 kW) will be procured.The vehicles are to be recharged using standardized CCS Combo 2 charging plugs.In accordance with the specifications, the contractor will be responsible for the planning, technical design, construction, delivery, installation, commissioning and handover of the charging infrastructure for the operation of battery-electric and fuel cell hybrid low-floor buses, including training in the use of the equipment.The delivery, installation and commissioning of the charging infrastructure at both depots must be completed by 15.12.2024 at the latest due to the requirements of the grant decision.The customer plans to procure a higher-level depot and charging management system in a further procurement project. In the future, the charging infrastructure to be procured is to be integrated into the system architecture and controlled by the charging management system. The provision of a simplified charging management system is to be included in the scope of delivery of the contractor. If the depot management system is not yet operational at the time of commissioning and acceptance of the charging devices, the simplified charging management system to be supplied shall take over the monitoring, control and supervision of the charging infrastructure for the time being until the necessary functions of the depot management system are available.It is pointed out that all communication about the project process shall be in German language and writing. This means that the requests to participate and the offers as well as all attachments, proofs, declarations, etc. must be written in German. The contracting authority expressly refers to §55 Para. 1 & 2 SektVo.
