Description
Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin invites suitably qualified works contractors to prequalify for the Mechanical and Electrical/ICT Reserved Specialist Works Contractor Packages. The projects concerns the construction works located at the University’s city centre campus. The contracting Authority intends to invite 5 candidates to tender for each specialist package, please note that the contracting authority reserves the right to invite at least 5, subject to the number qualifying.
The purpose of the E3 Learning Foundry Project is to develop the first phase of a new institute for interdisciplinary study and research into Engineering, Energy and the Environment, the E3 Learning Foundry. The E3 Learning Foundry is located within the campus of Trinity College Dublin and envisages the co‐location of teaching and learning activities for the three schools of Engineering, Computer Science and Natural Science. The building will be 7,288m2 across six floors above a single storey basement, with 6,760 m2 of teaching space. Please Note; For the avoidance of doubt, applicants who intend to submit a response to both lot 1 & 2 must do so by submitting a separate response under separate cover to the tenderbox under each lot they are applying for. Applicant submitting a response to only one lot must submit to the tenderbox under the specific lot to which they are applying, the Contracting Authority cannot be held responsible for errors encountered when submitting responses.
The pre-qualification quantitative and qualitative short-listing criteria are wholly described within the tender document set. i.e. SAQ and Project Information Memorandum, separately attached. Responses must be submitted via the electronic postbox available on www.etenders.gov.ie by the response deadline. Only responses submitted to the electronic postbox will be accepted. Responses submitted by any other means (including but not limited to by email, fax, post or hand delivery) will NOT be accepted.
