Description
The new system will first be integrated with the laboratory system Beaker from Epic via Biztalk. This requires that a structured file is uploaded with interpreted content. The system must be able to validate patient demography and the requisitioner code against external registers. The system will be put into operation at St. Olavs hospital and Ålesund Hospital, but in the long term the scope could be expanded to cover more hospitals. At first the volume will be approx. 600 000 scans per annum, divided between approx. 30 different paper requisitions. There are approx. 80 users (not simultaneous) who use the current system. In the long term this system could be used with, for example, the Health Platform, which would increase the scope as regards the number of scans, locations and users. Options in the contract will allow for this. The government's standard contract — procurement contract (contract for the procurement of software and equipment — SSA-K), will apply for this procurement. A maintenance contract will also be signed together with the contract for the procurement of software. Tenderers must attach the service and maintenance contract that reflects the service level recommended by the tenderer. It is a prerequisite that the service and maintenance requirements in the annex documents of SSA-K are fulfilled. The maintenance contract will have the same duration as the main contract.
