Description
The Barbados ministry acting as the executing agency for the digital transformation of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital project (funded by IDB Grant GRT/ER-19884-BA) invites expressions of interest from qualified consulting firms.
The selected firm will be contracted to deliver the following over a 9-month period:
- a health information interoperability framework establishing standards for harmonising health data exchange, including design and assessment guidelines, governance mechanisms, a conceptual framework, and maturity guidance
- data and information governance framework developing comprehensive data management programs, governance policies, and stewardship principles to ensure consistent and secure data practices across the institution
- business intelligence artefacts creating analytical tools such as reports, dashboards, and reusable datasets using data from the hospital’s Health Information System (HIS) and other databases to support decision-making and performance monitoring
This opportunity is open to firms from eligible countries under IDB procurement policies, and aims to strengthen digital health infrastructure and data-driven governance in Barbados.
