Description
The Republic of Panama, with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under the Customs Logistics Integration Program, is inviting bids for the design and construction of the Guabito National Border Control Center in Bocas del Toro Province.
The National Customs Authority will oversee the project, which has an estimated construction period of 18 months. Procurement will follow International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures per IDB acquisition policies.
Qualification requirements include:
- minimum average annual turnover of 14,000,000 US dollars in at least 2 of the last 5 years
- experience in design and construction of similar-scale projects (for example, government, urban, industrial, educational, health, or airport buildings)
- at least one project valued at 14,000,000 US dollars or more executed in the last 10 years
