CALL FOR TENDERS # B-28.11.02
Decontamination and demolition of the basement - Centre d'art la Petite église
Sealed tenders will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Saint-Eustache or his authorized representative at the Town Hall located at 145 Saint-Louis Street, 3rd floor, Saint-Eustache, until 11:00 a.m., January 26, 2021 for the call for tenders "Decontamination and demolition of the basement - Centre d'art la Petite église". The procedure to be followed for the receipt of bids is defined in the call for tenders document.
Tenders will be opened at the Town Hall building, located at 145 Saint-Louis Street in Saint-Eustache, on January 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. according to the procedure established by the Town and defined in the call for tenders document.
Individuals and companies interested in this call for tenders must obtain the tender documents by contacting the electronic call for tenders service (SEAO) by contacting one of the representatives by telephone at 1-866-669-7326 or 514-856-6600, or by visiting the website www.seao.ca as of January 8, 2021 . The documents are available at the cost established by the SEAO. The City of Saint-Eustache reserves the right to reject any bid for which the bidder has not obtained the tender document directly from the SEAO, including addenda (if applicable).

Tenders shall be accompanied by a certified cheque in the minimum amount of 10% of the total value of the tender or a bid bond in the same amount valid for one hundred and twenty (120) days.
In addition, the tender must be accompanied by a letter of intent issued by an insurance company certifying that it will issue a performance bond and a pledge, materials and services bond, each for a value of 100% of the tender amount.
Tenders must also be accompanied by a copy of a certificate from Revenu Québec dated within 90 days of the tender opening date.
Furthermore, the City is not responsible for the fact that the written notices or documents of any kind transmitted by the electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, all bidders must ensure, before submitting their bids, that they obtain all documents related to this call for tenders via the SEAO.
Only bids submitted on documents prepared by the Engineering Department will be accepted. Bids must be submitted in an envelope bearing the identification provided in the appendix to the call for tenders document.
The City may, if it is advantageous for it to do so, disregard any defect in the conformity of the tender if such defect does not break the rule of equality among all tenderers and it is not required to give reasons for the acceptance or rejection of any tender. Furthermore, the City may accept a tender in whole or in part or reject all tenders received.
The City does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. The City further reserves the right to reject all tenders received, if it deems it appropriate, without being held liable or subject to any lawsuit or claim for costs or losses incurred by the tenderers.
The City also reserves the right to award the contract subject to the availability of the required funds, either through the approval and coming into force of a borrowing by-law providing for the execution of the work or otherwise.
