The Project Manager, Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Est , having its head office at 2750 Laframboise Boulevard, Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec J2S 4Y8, requests tenders for the construction work of the project mentioned in title.

Summary description of the work
Replacement of the French foundation drains and coping stones of a section of
the B wing of the building. The work includes, but is not limited to, the supply and application of waterproofing membranes and drainage panels on the foundation walls and at required locations on the exterior envelope of the building, as indicated on the architectural drawings. The cleaning of the existing foundation, which includes but is not limited to the removal of the existing waterproofing membrane and the surface preparation of the concrete with a high pressure hot water jet.
TENDERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BID GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION :
In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the tender price and in the form determined below:
- A bid bond issued by a surety1 and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tender price valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of tenders.
The Financial Institution must be an insurer holding a permit issued in accordance with the Act respecting insurance (Chapter A-32) authorizing it to practice surety bond insurance, a trust company holding a permit issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (Chapter S-29.01), a financial services cooperative contemplated by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (Chapter C-67.3), or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C. 1991, c. 46).

The days and hours of operation of the offices of the public body for the receipt of tenders are from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Only contractors having a business office in Quebec (N.B.) where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, add the following text: "or in a province or territory covered by that agreement") and holding the licence required under the Building Act are eligible to tender.
A contractor holding a restricted licence issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the Register of Enterprises Ineligible for Public Contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended is not eligible to submit a tender; these two cases of ineligibility are also applicable to the tenderer's subcontractors.
Bidders are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their creditworthiness and for the content of their bids, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licences.

During the tendering period, the Project Manager will organize a briefing visit to 151 de Muy Street, Boucherville, QC, J4B 4W7 on February 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. . During these visits, the Project Manager's representatives will answer bidders' questions. All bidders, contractors and sub-contractors will be considered as having visited the site and no claim for lack of knowledge of the site can be submitted or accepted.
The Project Manager does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received.
