PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that sealed tenders addressed to :

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, to be publicly opened at the same location in the presence of the bidders, on the same day and at the same time.
Tender documents may be obtained from the Service électronique d'appels d'offres (SEAO) website at www.seao.ca or by contacting customer service at 1-866-669-7326. Documents may be obtained at a cost established by SEAO.
Tenders may be submitted by companies holding a general contractor's license and having their head office in Quebec, as well as any other company that complies with the public procurement liberalization agreements established by the Quebec government. Quebec companies must hold a license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, in accordance with the Building Act (R.S.Q., c.B-1.1), covering the work required. This license must be valid at the time of bid submission.
Subcontractors submitting bids to the BSDQ must also submit an envelope addressed to the Awarding Authority.
Bids will be accompanied by a separate bid security, in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of bid opening and made payable to or in favour of Coopérative de Solidarité en Habitation de Coeur (lot 1) and La Maison des Entreprises de Coeur, coopérative de services (lot 2). This bid bond will be exchanged at contract signing for a performance bond and a surety bond for guarantees, materials and services, each equal to 50% of the contract value.
Please note that this project is a large multi-unit building and will be NOVOCLIMAT-certified, the general contractor must be Novoclimat-certified and the installation of a ventilation system must be done by a Novoclimat-certified independent or centralized ventilation specialist.
Coopérative de Solidarité en Habitation de Coeur and La Maison des Entreprises de Coeur, coopérative de services do not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and disclaim any obligation or liability to the bidders.
