Germany - Conversion of a 220 KVA power unit from Mercedes Benz 1017 to Mercedes Benz Zetros

Description

Conversion of the existing 220 KVA aggregate of the THW local branch Lindenberg from a Mercedes Benz 1017 (in the following referred to as MB 1017) to a used Mercedes Benz Zetros 4x4 (in the following referred to as MB Zetros), which is already in the inventory of the THW. For this purpose the lower part of the subframe with which the case was mounted on the previous chassis (width approx. 90cm) must be replaced by a new one. The frame of the Mercedes Benz Zetros has a width of about 70cm. The existing pivot points, as well as the upper part of the subframe should be taken over if possible, so that the torsional capacity is maintained. On the upper part of the subframe the frame of the actual genset including motor and generator is fixed. The body box itself is not load-bearing.
