Description

The government of the Bahamas has requested financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under the 'support for modernizing the legal and regulatory framework of the water and sanitation sector in The Bahamas” program and intends to apply part of the funds to contract consulting services.

The consulting firm will be responsible for preparing new draft legislation to modernize the water and sewerage sector’s legal and regulatory framework. Tasks include reviewing relevant documents, updating and drafting new legislation, leading stakeholder consultations, and finalizing the legislation based on stakeholder input.

The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) invites eligible consulting firms to express interest. Shortlists will include a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 qualified firms. Consultants may associate with other firms as joint ventures or subconsultants.

The executing agency is the Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC).
