The Commission scolaire des Grandes-Seigneuries, owner, invites tenders for construction work to be carried out on request.
Plans, specifications and other contractual documents may be obtained EXCLUSIVELY from the SÉAO either via the website http://www.seao.ca, or by calling 514 856-6600 for the Montreal area or 1-866-669-7326 for the other regions. Invoicing for printing and delivery will be done by SÉAO and the costs for the acquisition of plans and specifications are non-refundable.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The general contractors selected shall, upon request, carry out various repair and renovation work in accordance with the conditions of this quotation. General contractors will have to carry out this work according to the best practices of each of the disciplines involved and coordinate it properly.

CONTRACT DURATION
The Contract expires after a period of ONE (1) year from its entry into force or when the authorized value of all Contracts to the various selected ENTREPRENEURS has been reached.

OPTIONS
TWO (2) options to renew the Contract for an additional period of ONE (1) year each.

BID SECURITY
The bidder must include with its bid a lump sum bid security of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) issued in one of the following forms:
a) A bond issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a financial institution as defined in clause 0.01.12 hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Bid Form.
(b) A certified cheque, money order or bank draft made payable to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
(c) An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a financial institution as defined in clause 0.01.12 hereof, which must comply with the requirements of the model "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" reproduced in Appendix 4.01B of the Tender Form.

PERFORMANCE BOND
The successful bidder must provide, prior to the signing of the Contract, a performance bond for a lump sum of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000.00), issued in one of the following forms:
a) A bond issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a financial institution as defined in clause 0.01.12 hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Bid Form.
(b) A certified cheque, money order or bank draft made payable to the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION.
c) An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favour of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.12 hereof, which must comply with the requirements of the model "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" reproduced in Appendix 4.01B of the Tender Form.

RECEIPT OF BIDS
Bids (original and 1 copy) in sealed envelopes and addressed in the form provided in the tender documents will be received at the owner's home on the Material Resources floor at 1250, boul. Taschereau, La Prairie Québec J5R 1X2, before 10:00 a.m., local time, July 9, 2019 to be publicly open at the same location, on the same day at 10:00 a.m.
The PUBLIC ORGANIZATION does not send the tender documents. These are available on the SEAO website.
