The existing open-air swimming pool in the Salinental will be extended by the construction of a new indoor swimming pool in order to ensure that the town of Bad Kreuznach can offer a sports and family pool in addition to the thermal wellness pools.for the new construction project, the existing open-air swimming pool building with supply and changing area and the technical building will be demolished and replaced by the planned building.this new building will contain the entrance, changing and shower area and integrate the technical equipment for the open-air swimming pool area. At the same time, structural and technical measures will be taken to maintain the existing functionality of the outdoor pool in the long term and at the same time to increase its attractiveness. In addition, a new children's pool will be built, which can be assigned to both bathing areas - GFA: 3,950 m2 - BRI: 18,867 m3 - water surface area of the outdoor pool: 2,300 m2 - water surface area of the indoor pool: 539 m2.
Waterproofing and tiling work:- Floor and wall areas waterproofing approx. 2,240 m2,- Waterproofing of rising structural elements approx. 800 m,- Capillary-breaking 2-component epoxy resin grouting approx. 135 m,- Construction panel made of extruded polystyrene rigid foam as tile support approx. 420 m2,- floor tiles in general approx. 1 335 m2,- wall tiles in general approx. 810 m2,- stairs floor covering approx. 85 m,- floor tiles of the paddling pool approx. 45 m2,- wall covering approx. 20 m2 and pool gutter,- special stones approx. 26 m.
