Poland - Construction work for buildings relating to higher education

Description

The subject matter of the contract includes renovation, reconstruction and thermo-modernisation of the University of Łódź Training and Conference Centre building in the high and low parts and the canteen - in the building complex at 16/18 Kopcińskiego Street in Łódź together with replacement of central heating and hot water installations. The construction works subject to the said proceedings concern the following facilities of the Training and Conference Centre of the University of Łódź (CSK): 1) building No. 1 - CSK (11-storey in the high part, one-storey in the low part) (basement); 2) building No. 2 - canteen (one-storey) (partially basement).
The subject matter of the contract includes renovation, reconstruction and thermo-modernisation of the University of Łódź Training and Conference Centre building in the high and low sections, and the canteen - in the building complex at 16/18 Kopcińskiego Street in Łódź, together with replacement of central heating and hot water installations. The construction works subject to the said proceedings concern the following facilities of the Training and Conference Centre of the University of Łódź (CSK): 1) building No. 1 - CSK (11-storey in the high part, one-storey in the low part) (basement); 2) building No. 2 - canteen (one-storey) (partially basement).Area and cubic capacity: CSK (No. 1): high, low part and basements: usable area 3,434.35 m2, cubic capacity of ca 11,780.00 m3; canteen building (No. 2) with facilities: usable area 663.61 m2, cubic capacity of ca 3,650.00 m3; total: usable area 4,097.96 m2, cubic capacity of ca 15,430.00 m3. The buildings being the subject of the investment as well as the plots on which they are located are the property of the Investor - UŁ. The repair and modernization works subject to this contract include: 1) bringing the buildings to the state of compliance with the building regulations in terms of thermal insulation of partitions, fire protection conditions, health and safety conditions and sanitary and epidemiological conditions. and aesthetics of the facade; as well as 2) improvement of the building's functionality, including, among others, through: a) partial demolition of partition walls, chimneys, finishing elements;b) replacement of thermal insulation;c) replacement of floors;d) replacement of windows and doors;e) replacement of internal water installations, sanitary sewage system, central heating system;f) replacement of internal ventilation and air-conditioning systems, smoke removal;g) replacement of internal electrical system;h) adaptation and installation of fire protection system. - SSP, DSO;i) adaptation of the existing lift in the CSK building for rescue purposes (detailed description in point 22);j) replacement of low-current installations: structural cabling, RTV system, audio-video, CCTV surveillance system, KD system - door locks, paging system for the disabled, SSWN; k) installation of bathroom equipment; 3) implementation of thermomodernization of the above mentioned systems. 3) thermal modernization of the above mentioned buildings will consist of execution: a) insulation of external walls together with execution of complete in frame technology with ceramic plate cladding with transparent and nontransparent glass facade elements; b) replacement of windows and external doors; c) insulation of foundation walls and plinth; d) insulation of roof together with replacement of covering and assembly of structure for foundation of air handling units and smoke extraction devices;e) thermal insulation of the floor on the ground together with the floor laying; f) modernization of central heating system; g) modernization of the central water system; h) complete mechanical ventilation system; i) replacement of LED lighting with cabling. The scope of works covered by the order includes servicing of the devices installed under the order, performed once a year during the offered warranty period. All servicing activities of the equipment, resulting from the warranty and service, including replacement of consumables and natural wear and tear must ensure total efficiency of the equipment during its operation. A detailed description of the subject matter of the order and detailed terms and conditions of order completion are specified in: design documentation in the industry layout (Annex 2a to ToR), STWiORB (Annex 2b to ToR), cost estimates (Annex 3b to ToR) and draft contract (Annex 5 to ToR).
