The Weser bridge is located on the free stretch of the L 770 in the town of Petershagen and connects the two districts of Petershagen in the west and Lahde in the east.The bridge has a length of about 320 m with 8 spans, it was built in 1969, BW No.: 3619 522.In the course of the building measure a fundamental repair and reinforcement of the entire structure takes place, the work extends over a period of approx. 3 years. The start of construction is planned for January 2024, the end of construction is foreseen for December 2026. The work on the superstructure will basically be carried out in two identical construction phases, starting with the southern half of the superstructure, followed by the northern half, construction time per construction phase approx. 9 months, of which 6 months 2-lane and 3 months 1-lane traffic routing.The construction project is located in a sensitive area of the Weser floodplain, with a landscape conservation area, nature reserve and bird sanctuary in some areas, and corresponding restrictions during the construction period.The following essential repair and reinforcement measures will be carried out:- approx. 400 m3 of caps will be demolished- approx. 460 m3 of caps will be made of lightweight concrete- approx. 740 m of railings and protective equipment will be renewed- approx. 3,600 m2 of sealing and surfacing on the superstructure will be taken up- approx. 1,600 m2 of sealing under the caps will be taken up- approx. 3,100 m2 of sealing and surfacing on the superstructure will be made- approx. 2,100 m2 of sealing under the caps will be made- approx. 25 m3 concrete reinforcement on superstructure cantilevers and abutments- approx. 38 m replace carriageway transition structure- approx. 16 pcs replace bearings- approx. 5.0 t install prestressing steel for external superstructure prestressing- approx. 56 pcs install prestressing steel in box girder base plate- approx. 3.2 t install structural steel in box girder base plate- approx. 675 m construct cast iron pipeline,- approx. approx. 340 m of abutment tiebacks made of grouted anchors- approx. 130 m2 of bird screen on piers and abutments- approx. 750 m2 of concrete repair on superstructure and substructures- approx. 11,000 m2 of OS-C coating on superstructure and substructures- approx. 15 m of embankment stairs- approx. 2,000 m3 excavation pit for abutment and pier foundations and backfill- 1 psch provision of working, protective and supporting scaffolds as well as working platforms- approx. 51 m trough-rigolen element with bed load shaft manufacture- approx. 4,500 m3 road embankment widening manufacture- approx. 480 m cycle path in road embankment manufacture
