The Mainzer Bürgerhäuser GmbH & Co. KG intends to renovate the community center in the Lerchenberg district in terms of energy and fire protection, to convert it and to extend it with two annexes (day care center and dance club).The site of the Lerchenberg community center is located in the Lerchenberg district of Mainz in a residential area. The property is extensive and is bordered in the south by a large park-like forest. In the upper northern part is the community center with attached public parking. The existing building will be preserved, converted and adapted to the required new uses by means of appropriate conversion measures. The required uses in the community center include the local administration, the neighborhood management, the youth center, the senior center and an optional restaurant.The new building of the planned 4-room daycare center will be added in the southeast and complements the citizen-oriented offer of the ensemble. The daycare center is closely connected to the community center - functionally but self-sufficient. The new kindergarten building will have one floor, a flat roof and a PV system. The new hall of the dance sports center "Rot - Weiß" is connected to the existing building of the community center across the main orientation in the south.
