IPM GmbH plans to have the new construction of a school building and a sports hall built on a turnkey basis as part of an integrated contract award. The scope of work includes design and construction services for the new construction of the Bernburger Strasse secondary school with 2 other types of school in one school building and the new construction of the sports hall at Vennhauser Allee 167 in Düsseldorf in 2 lots.
The contract to be awarded relates to design and construction services for the new construction of the Bernburger Strasse main school, the Alfred Herrhausen special school and the center for vocational transitions in a building complex at Vennhauser Allee 167 in Düsseldorf.- New school building: 7,847 m² GFAThe school building is designed in such a way that the west wing is home to the main school with 16 classes on 3 floors and the east wing is home to the special school with 8 classes over two floors.The specialist classes (chemistry and physics) as well as all shared units (art, textiles and music) are located in the middle zone and can be reached from all units via short routes. The administration of both schools and the ZBÜ with the two teachers' rooms are concentrated on the first floor of the east wing.The utility rooms and a student kiosk, which play a central role in both types of school, are located on the first floor in the middle zone, with direct contact to the auditorium and the café and enliven the "marketplace". The cafeteria is also located on the first floor in direct proximity to the main entrance and is served by the directly attached Cook & Chill kitchen for the distribution of 270 meals in 3 shifts.A central, open staircase in combination with seating steps brings both quality of stay, but also forms the future development of the first floor and 1st floor for students and teachers. As vertical access, the building also has three necessary staircases and a barrier-free elevator.The classrooms of both types of schools are designed as cluster units. Each cluster is directly connected to a stairwell, so that direct access from the schoolyard is possible. Around a central multipurpose room 4-6 classrooms and 1-2 differentiation rooms are arranged. The cluster solution should allow the multipurpose space to be used freely and furnished individually. Other ancillary spaces such as toilet facilities, teaching aids and team room are located in each cluster. One cluster of the main school is located on the first floor and 2 others on the 1st and 2nd floor. One cluster of the special school is also located on the 1st and 2nd floor in the opposite wing of the building.The buildings have been placed in such a way as to interfere as little as possible with the existing trees, which are worth preserving, and to preserve them as much as possible in consultation with the garden department.The contract will be awarded to a general contractor, who will also be responsible for planning from HOAI service phase 5. The demolition of existing buildings and the relocation of a water supply line have been carried out in advance. The construction of the outdoor facilities will be carried out by the customer. The contract will be awarded to a general contractor who will also be responsible for planning from HOAI service phase 5 onwards.
